Main Street Property, LLC is comprised of two Stanly County natives, developer Terry Whitley and Bob Barbee along with Charlottean Andreas Bechtler. The group owns 120 acres just northwest of the NC 200/24-27 intersection where the Locust Town Center is located. The group hired nationally and internationally renowned planners Duany Plater-Zyberk to develop a masterplan.
